Unbelievable Portraits Created with Layers of Wire Mesh by Seung Mo Park, USA, Amarillo, Texas
Korean sculptor Seung Mo Park has been able to create these beautiful dreamlike portraits by meticulously cutting and combining several layers of mesh wire. Each piece starts off by superimposing photographs over the layers of wire using a projector, Seung then starts to manipulate the mesh to re-create the photograph. To add an extra dimension to his pieces, Seung spaces the layers of mesh a few finger widths apart.
Within Parks portfolio you will also find some incredible life size sculptures of women and dresses, made from using aluminum wire and fiberglass. Along with some various objects using the same technique.
